One of two daughters born to the senate political Amoret family, Varinia lived a comfortable childhood within the capital of Garlemald.With a classic Garlean education, she explored her skills separately from her more scholarly sister. Rejecting the privileges she would have been awarded into her adulthood, she enlisted in the military. The young woman was shipped off to the VIIth Imperial Legion to serve in the military and survey as a guard to the weapons projects in Werlyt; stationed in Terncliff.
After years of loyalty to the empire, she rejected her sadistic legatus's practices- escaping as far as she could from the empire.
Now in Eorzea, she spent her time as a mercenary through the various adventurer's guilds; eventually settling down with an Eorzean man away from prying eyes.
Only then would she return to her home in hopes of aiding and proving herself to her countrymen after the fall of the empire. She runs from some aspects of her past, but seemingly chases after other fragments of it. Her real loyalties and priorities are a mystery to some around her- maybe she hasn't quite yet made up her mind.
